Embedded Video Engine (EVE) 4 Series will become one of the benchmarks in the future journey of Melrose systems. The introduction of EVE, the smart display controller will execute certain functions seamlessly; a backend of sort.
EVE4 series otherwise known as BT817Q series will make your application delicate with sophisticated GUI and works perfectly even in the smallest microcontroller with SPI/QSPI interface.
CREATION OF A NEW COMMUNICATION PROTOCOL.
For the first time anywhere, the creation of a new communication protocol has enabled for effective data interchange between graphics controller BT817Q from Bridgetek and Capactivie Touch Panel Controller ILI2132A from ILITEK.
It is a truly industrial touch controller that allows Intelligent Displays to meet industrial, medical, and even military requirements!
All our EVE4 modules are based on the latest line of High Brightness IPS displays with a number of optical advantages in terms of angles, color and contrast.

RiBus Connector
EVE4 series comes with a RiBus connector, a 20-pin standard connector allowing you to build one board that can be used in several devices with different display sizes.
Non-square pixel algorithm
The rectangular pixels used in our displays allow users to draw a circle or any shape without losing its true nature. You might have seen an ellipse drawn on the display even if you have drrawn a perfect circle, it may be a minute issue but we have solved it with the non-square pixed algorithm.

Enabling high-quality man-machine interactions (MMI/HMI) by embedding the most advanced graphics controller, the BT817Q series in our display board.
POWERFUL TECHNOLOGY
EVE technology follows an object-oriented approach to cut down development time and also to simplify its implementation on applications. The block diagram shows how easily the interface processes images, sounds, and information from the touch panel.

ADAPTIVE SCALABLE TEXTURE
COMPRESSION (ASTC)
With the ASTC algorithm, the image quality can be enhanced in a limited bandwidth. Save sufficient memory space by compressing even the smaller graphic files, that too without losing its picture clarity.
BUILT-IN 256MB FLASH MEMORY CHIP
EVE4 series comes with an in-built 256Mb flash memory chip via a dedicated QSPI interface. The chip is capable of holding up to 270 JPEG files for 3.5″ displays. Remember the size of the images depends on many attributes like resolution, color palette, contrast, etc.
DEDICATED FAST-PROGRAMMING PORT FOR BUILT-IN FLASH MEMORY
A dedicated port (P3) is added on the EVE4 board for a fast-programming flash memory chip from an external source. This helps end customers order pre-programmed boards with graphic content added during the production stage.
IMMUNE TO EXTERNAL EMF SIGNALS
No more disturbances in working your equipment due to external electromagnetic signals*. The engineers designed the EVE4 series with low noise backlight converters, which ensure no additional device to minimize external EMF signals.
